THE PCG DONE HIS REVOLUTION
The PCG slams the door LKP
few weeks just before the crucial mobilization of 26 October, the Communist Party of Guadeloupe has opted out of the LKP, which since then has not more than 47 organizations. The PCG has nevertheless continued to maintain to the end of the term general strike of 26 and was present that day in the event of Pointe-à-Pitre. In its statement the Central Committee [1] published November 3, we note two main reasons, set forth to justify this departure.
"The nationalist-syndicalist [which] sterilize the debate"
While presenting the finding of " the state of bankruptcy that characterizes TODAY 'Today the Guadeloupe "and criticizing the proponents of assimilationism [2] , Victorin Lurel in mind, the PC brands some" nationalist-syndicalist , using a balance of power today for them, [and] the LKP sterilize, organize the disappointment, which returns the masses under the protection of conservatives . ... " Even if they are not mentioned, we of course think of the leaders Mouvman nonme. However, far from being affected by the departure of the PCG, they see the contrary, with the departure of the PCG, strengthened their position within the collective. While it is normal and even desirable to denounce what is wrong within the LKP, one might ask whether the policy of the empty chair is not likely to be, in this case, totally counterproductive.
The anti-colonial struggle
The other criticism that the GHL formula to LKP is not having established political force would be loud and the issue of statutory evolution. The Communist Party now arises as well as the herald of this struggle and calls for a large gathering of forces that are truly anti-colonialist. He criticized on this point very strongly, the leaders of LKP: " (...) they proved incapable of giving valuable guidance to the LKP, before making their touch to the disillusionment of the masses by appearing in an uncoordinated regional elections, despite all the efforts of the Communist Party of Guadeloupe to present a common list "and speaks of "fog political horizon mouth."
A new front?
The PCG known to hold "anti-colonialist forces foundation and patriotic." From a very pragmatic view, one may wonder how this initiative can have a chance of succeeding. While some organizations like the ICAPP Alain Fun, but is still embryonic and personalities like Eric Jalton, which are clearly stated at the last regional elections in favor of this development office, could be tempted to join PCG in this adventure, but obviously this could be very insufficient to adequately weigh the statutory issue. For organizations independence, as yet UPLG combined with PCG and Jalton during the election campaign, he is unlikely to leave a LKP who sees their strengthened position within it, if need be. One might fear that the PCG does not have the necessary potential in terms of electoral base to drive an ambitious change.
A minefield
You tell me that this is not because we are a minority at one point that we are condemned to remain so. In fact the PCG is considering a number of actions as " an information campaign, debate, under the" bik has pawol, with Guadeloupe "or
" a work of popular education and awareness, reactivating their study center as a social and political space of citizenship training and accountability, open to all Guadeloupeans He also announced that " efforts will be made to bring the work in the field of communication in the requirements of the fight against all the mechanisms of alienation and manipulation of the masses . But the land on which intends to engage the PCG is undermined. If the demonstration on October 26 was attended by over 10,000 people in Guadeloupe, it failed to mobilize in Martinique over 2000 people. This result is partly due to the slap that was received by the organizations within the group of 5 February which had bet on "yes" in the referendum for statutory changes, January 10, 2010. That day, the Martinique should answer "yes" or "no" to the question: "Do you approve the transformation of Martinique in a community overseas governed by Article 74 of the Constitution , with a particular organization considering its own interests in the Republic? ". The results were a repudiation cooking for supporters évoluton: 79%, Martinique had expressed their rejection to the proposal. Although this result was primarily a reflection of the mistrust experienced by West Indians vis-à-vis their political class, it is clear that the proposed changes, presented as an end in itself would be able to favorably change the situation of the population, has not satisfied far from it.
project
A similar evolution seems possible in Guadeloupe that if the population is very closely associated with the development of an alternative vision of society, and she takes of herself that indeed it is necessary to change the status of the archipelago to reach the goal concrete it was fixed. The statutory evolution is not then an end in itself but a mere tool to serve a group project. As such, thinking that launches the PCG is far from being uninteresting:
" The Guadeloupe should opt for a model endogenous development of diverse mixed type, according to the principle of planned development. This means that the development will be conducted through plans developed by a power Guadeloupe, with the participation of all stakeholders (government, employers, workers, research centers ...). The objectives are primarily the creation of jobs and wealth, social progress.
Endogenous development naturally involves finding a new way of life, breaking with the company overconsumption, waste, "all motor" and any import. It is a lifestyle endogenous closer to nature, emphasizing quality of life in living standards, integration in the Caribbean, on the basis of complementarity, reciprocity and solidarity exchanges .
This model of development and society can be understood if Guadeloupe is free to make political choices and has the mastery of skills that underpin good governance: taxation, education and price controls, customs policy, immigration, foreign trade. "
Towards a post-capitalist society? Strength and weakness.
It is quite far from the thought of Karl Marx found by cons very clearly in these lines, the influence of the manifest of the 9 Martinique intellectuals for a post- capitalist [3] , a text absolutely remarkable poetry and posed with the question of the future relevance of Guadeloupe and Martinique. Thinking this fate and try to give a political expression on the electoral chessboard deserves our attention, nevertheless, the Felix PCG Flemin does it not the cart before the horse already opting for a Change statutory model, prior to deepen and consolidate his vision of the endogenous development of Guadeloupe, especially before winning the population's view about the project that requires a statutory change? This is undoubtedly lies the weakness of the approach ...
