his solidarity with the youth and workers in struggle against the French over what pwofitasyon lengthening of working time the demands put forward by the collective rather refer to the overriding requirement to finally respect the agreements made by the state and local March 4, 2009.

Although attendance at meetings prior to this important day of action was rather low, the Delegates of the LKP display a quiet confidence, "there will be many people in the streets on 26." Everyone has found that the system of profit was more than ever standing, and the suspension of the power relations office in March 2009 had resulted in a decline on all advanced-won. It is true that he is certainly not soon present moment more favorable social movement Guadeloupe, plus union Guadeloupe-Martinique-Guyane, a synergy can be created with the social forces of the hexagon, something that had been sorely lacking in 2009 ...

Concluding the book "LKP, the movement of the 44 days" that came out today in bookstores, Nicolas Rey and I were doing this observation:

"Finally, when we also know that the Groupe Bernard Hayot, [to name him] in addition to holding signs among the most important of Guadeloupe and Martinique, is located in many places around the world, we understand that a strike is limited to only those DOM merely tickle the multinational and it would could take well beyond the 44 days in Guadeloupe or otherwise without its fundamental interests are even just scratched. As the experiences of regional and national struggles will fail to liyanner in a larger movement, international or global justice, global capitalism and its all-powerful multinationals have a bright future ahead of them ... "On October 26, 2010 will mark there a turning point on this? Guadeloupeans tell. Already, the image of the metropolis, the shortage in some stations and large queues at the pumps have been observed throughout the day.

After months of silence spent traveling and co-authoring a book on the LKP (it was not easy!), editor of Dog Creole is proud to present its new creation, out October 21 in France and 25, in Guadeloupe, published Syllepse. Below, I propose you to discover his introduction:

"LKP, the movement of the 44 days ... That's a catchy title, as they say in publishing! But does that mean for the authors, the LKP would be limited the 44-day general strike that shook Guadeloupe in early 2009? Of course not, the group has not dissolved with the suspension of the strike, nor did he set up ex nihilo. It is part of a much broader context.

The ambition of this book is to give the keys to a original movement, rooted in a tradition of resistance Guadeloupe centuries to recount in detail the social conflict that held the Guadeloupe and the world (CNN and Al Jazeera had they not sent their special place?) in breath, take a sharp light on its issues, its prospects, its consequences. The questions raised by this movement, as we shall see, largely outperforming the borders of the small Caribbean archipelago.

So why this title may be reducing the "movement of 44 days? Would it be in the secret hope that History retains this name for the events of that period? In fact, if we chose this title because this number, 44, has seemed particularly symbolic of the social struggle that has engaged in Guadeloupe. He said the endurance of the strikers, their resilience, because nobody in France a general strike had reached such a number of days. It also gives us an idea about the importance of supporters of the movement because it is easy to see that a minority, so well organized it is, would have paralyzed the economy of Guadeloupe for so long if it had the population back ...

He said the amount of hope and revolt which led the demonstrators to take that long. This number is heavy sacrifices made by Guadeloupe, and as background, he draws examples of solidarity and new fault lines. This number, 44, also tells us a lot about the nature of social relations that prevail in Guadeloupe: the implacable intransigence of big business who knew nothing Guadeloupe transfer, the policy of decay had wagered on which the State ...

For all these reasons we chose this title in a work where we also discuss all issues without taboos that are controversial, starting with the gray areas surrounding the death of Jacques elkapiste Bino, but also those that would be the LKP racist and violent movement or a movement seeking to "advance masked" to the independence of Guadeloupe. Exceed the Manichean vision with which the LKP is generally discussed and the present through its men and women, sometimes different aspirations; decipher what makes its strength and which has excited so much Guadeloupe swelled the ranks of protesters dreaming of a new road map for Guadeloupe; show his mistakes, his mistakes and his unspoken; such are the main objectives of this book we invite you to share.
